Making Pligg Template Development A Whole Lot Easier

Over the past few months we have been thinking of ways to streamline the development of pligg templates for the community, at the moment to vreate a pligg template you could have to edit up to 40 .tpl files that utilize the SmartyLite template engine. After thinking this problem through for a while we think that child templates could be the way forward for pligg, this post details some of our ideas on how pligg’s templating engine could easily be improved for developers and users alike.
