Pligg Template

After releasing PliggTube we decided that our next Pligg Template titled PliggDZine should be more of a news style come blog layout. Coming from a Wordpress design background to Pligg we wanted to do something a little different to the usual Pligg News layouts that are available, this is where the concept for PliggDZine originated from.

Below is a screenshot of the default PliggDZine colour scheme, it will come with several more so any suggestions in the comments will be considered for inclusion. The screenshot is taken from the XHTML and CSS valid files that were created after the template was designed within Photoshop.

PliggDZine has been coded for ease of customization and is respectful of Pligg’s HTML structure meaning all your sidebar modules should work with the design without editing by using pliggs default HTML class and div selectors. The stylesheets are also separated into a main style sheet that holds all the template logic and secondary stylesheets for alternative colour schemes. This makes adding your own custom colour scheme’s on top of our’s really simple and easy to maintain.

PliggDZine will also support the image upload module from Pligg for story images as well as our own Video Embed module from PliggTube for video content and video thumbnails. When will it be released? PliggDZine should be released around the 1st of Feburary.
